How It All Began

Bean & Bliss was born in 2019 from a simple dream: to create a neighborhood gathering place where exceptional coffee meets genuine community. Our founders, Sarah and Miguel, both longtime coffee enthusiasts, noticed their neighborhood was missing that perfect spot where neighbors could connect over a truly great cup of coffee.

After years of traveling and experiencing coffee cultures around the world, they decided to bring that warmth and authenticity to their own community. What started as weekend farmer's market coffee tastings grew into the cozy shop you know and love today.

Our Coffee Philosophy

We believe great coffee starts with great relationships. That's why we work directly with small-scale farmers who share our values of sustainability and quality. Our beans are sourced from family farms in Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Colombia, where we've built lasting partnerships based on fair trade and mutual respect.

Every batch is roasted in small quantities right here in our community, ensuring maximum freshness and flavor. Our head roaster, Jamie, has over 15 years of experience and approaches each origin with the care it deserves, bringing out the unique characteristics that make each coffee special.

Head Roaster & Coffee Curator

15 years in specialty coffee with certifications in cupping and roasting. Jamie travels annually to visit our farm partners.
